This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution. * Six Sigma or Lean certifications Skills: * Experience in quality systems and control plan development and implementation. * Background in assembly processes, testing and on-line inspection methodologies. * Strong background in complex assemblies, process development and inspection equipment selection. * Proficient in PFMEA, process control, 8D and root cause analysis tools and methods. * Desirable experience with metal transformation processes. * Application of Six Sigma methodology for problem solving and resolution management. * Experience with customer and supplier quality interaction. * Problem solving * Ability to lead projects across multiple locations. * Influential skills and change management. * Able to teach, coach and mentor on process. * Effective communication with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders. ## Description As the Lead Quality Engineer you are responsible for the development, deployment, and management of quality plans and processes for programmatic jobs providing technical guidance to drive standardization, improvement, innovation and introduction of technology that supports product quality efficiency and strategic initiatives. The Product Line Programmatic Execution team is responsible for building product line quality expertise and partnering with the Industrialization and Product Line Design team to introduce best practices and drive standardization. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
