You've shipped software that people used - and you're ready to own bigger pieces end-to-end You've built something from scratch - a side project, hackathon, or an app you shipped on your own. You know what it takes to go from zero to something real You figure things out. When you're stuck, you dig in - reading the source, building a prototype, or asking the right questions Comfortable with ambiguity - you may not have all the answers yet, but you know how to find them You work well with others and communicate clearly across teams You're curious about AI tools and you are already experimenting with how they change the way you write code ## Description You'll work alongside a tight group of engineers, designers, and researchers to bring AI features from early prototype to product. This is 0-to-1 work - from a rough idea on a whiteboard to software running on real devices. You'll have a lot of autonomy in how you get there. You'll grow here. The work is hard enough to demand it and the team is generous enough to support it., Designing and building iOS-based software that re-imagines and creates new Apple experiences using AI Prototyping rapidly to explore what works - then making it real Partnering closely with Design, Machine Learning, and other teams to shape features, not just implement specs Contributing to architecture decisions, absorbing how senior engineers think, and growing your technical voice Investing in the quality and reliability of what you ship - through testing, tooling, and infrastructure that gives the team confidence Preferred Qualifications Experience developing software for human-AI interaction Experience in one or more iOS/macOS domains: system services, UI frameworks, concurrent application architecture, or performance optimization You seek out feedback and learn fast from the people around you Close to the frontier. You're the person your friends come to when a new model drops or a new technique emerges A point of view on where human-AI interaction is headed - and the drive to be part of building it ## Related Videos - [Xcode development redefAIned](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100195-xcode-development-redefained) - [Detect Hand Pose with Vision](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/135-detect-hand-pose-with-vision) - [Harnessing Apple Intelligence: Live Coding with Swift for iOS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1515-harnessing-apple-intelligence-live-coding-with-swift-for-ios) - [Introduction to Azure Machine Learning](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/368-introduction-to-azure-machine-learning) - [Let your iOS app read texts](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/167-let-your-ios-app-read-texts) - [Introducing Kotlin Multiplatform in an existing project](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/276-introducing-kotlin-multiplatform-in-an-existing-project) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 118 - not a total recall](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/452-dev-digest-118-not-a-total-recall) - [How to Answer the Interview Question: “Why Do You Want to Be a Software Engineer?”](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/392-how-to-answer-the-interview-question-why-do-you-want-to-be-a-software-engineer) - [7 Important Tips That Every Software Developer Should Know](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/101-7-important-tips-that-every-software-developer-should-know) - [A Guide to Choosing the Right Tools for App Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/391-a-guide-to-choosing-the-right-tools-for-app-developers)
