## About the Role

* 4-year degree or equivalent experience
 * 1+ years of software development experience
 * Demonstrates familiarity with current and emerging technologies in own scope of responsibility, and develops ability to apply these technologies
 * Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript
 * Foundational understanding of software engineering practices including data structures, debugging, testing, version control, code reviews, and writing maintainable code
 * Familiarity with cloud, platform, or distributed systems concepts such as APIs, containers, Kubernetes, networking, storage, messaging/streaming, observability, or service reliability
 * Ability to learn new technologies, tools, and domains quickly, and apply that learning to solve engineering problems with guidance from more senior engineers.
 * Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
