**Published:** September 3, 2026 - **Apply:** https://arc.dev/signup?userType=developer&publicRandomKey=ph8sebad2z&to=https%3A%2F%2Farc.dev%2Fdashboard%2Fd%2Fverified-jobs%2Fph8sebad2z%2Fapplication ## About the Role * Over 5 years of experience in performance testing with a proven track record in designing performance strategies beyond just executing test scripts. * Proficient with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Locust, and Gatling. * Experience in testing cloud-native, hybrid, and enterprise-scale systems, preferably within Microsoft Azure environments. * Comprehensive understanding of IoT and SCADA systems, including device telemetry, MQTT, OPC UA, PLCs, real-time dashboards, and time-series data. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of interpreting logs, metrics, and traces to determine root causes. * Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools. * Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Experience with Azure IoT Hub and Azure Data Explorer or similar time-series databases., * Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform for setting up performance test environments. * Familiarity with OT networks, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols. * Experience in integrating performance testing into Azure DevOps pipelines. * Hold an ISTQB Performance Testing certification. * Possess Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect certification. ## Description * Design robust performance testing strategies, including test plans, KPIs, SLAs, and performance models tailored for IoT ingestion, SCADA polling, dashboards, alerting, and reporting. * Configure performance test environments that closely replicate on-premises and Azure production settings. * Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, k6, Locust, and Gatling. * Simulate large-scale workloads encompassing 10,000+ device connections, MQTT/OPC UA traffic, high-frequency sensor data, and SCADA HMI activity. * Integrate automated performance tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to streamline processes. * Monitor and analyze system performance with tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Grafana. * Identify and address bottlenecks, analyzing CPU, memory, database latency, IoT Hub throttling, network performance, and end-to-end latency. * Prepare detailed performance reports, capacity recommendations, and SLA pass/fail results for engineering teams and client stakeholders. * Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to enhance application, database, and cloud performance. * Support UAT, major releases, client deployments, and post-release hypercare activities. * Establish and promote performance testing standards, templates, processes, and best practices across the organization. * Ensure all performance testing is conducted safely, especially with systems linked to live OT/SCADA environments. ## Related Videos -
