## About the Role

+ A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
 + 2+ years of experience in structural and/or bridge design
 + PE License is a plus
 + Strong written and verbal communication skills
 + Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications , AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation , and NCDOT standards
 + Proficiency in structural design software
 + Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for plan development
 + NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus, We are looking for high energy, creative, flexible, patient, self-starters who are willing to work at a dynamic pace. Candidates must share a commitment to our company's Vision, Mission and Shared Values.

## Description

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity to work on routine and complex structures including bridge, building, renewable energy and ancillary structure designs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

 + Perform rehabilitation designs for bridges and buildings
 + Conduct bridge load ratings and evaluations
 + Support project planning including scope, schedule, and budget development
 + Assist in project and task management
 + Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development
