US citizenship is required. The Nuclear Operations Directorate (NOD) is seeking an LRSO Systems Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support to the USAF Long Range Stand Off (LRSO) Program Office Air Vehicle group with development, test, and production of the LRSO Cruise Missile. The position requires someone with hands on experience in systems engineering, specifically configuration management and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition phase transition. The candidate will be in a customer interfacing role for the Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate (AFNWC/NDBD) within the USAF Nuclear Weapons Center. The candidate must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively interface with the government customer and contractors. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
