## About the Role

We are seeking a Data Engineer who has the ability to be an independent contributor with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle and will be proficient in Oracle PL/SQL. They should also have experience with ETL tools like Informatica, scripting and automation using Unix and Python, as well as working knowledge of data warehousing patterns and dimensional modeling techniques using Oracle., * Expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle

 * Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers)
 * Strong working experience in ETL tools like Informatica (Power Center)
 * Working experience in scripting and automation using Unix, Python in a Data Engineering environment
 * Extensive experience with Relational Databases like Oracle including performance tuning techniques
 * Strong working knowledge of Datawarehousing patterns and Dimensional Modelling techniques using Oracle
 * Experience building scalable patterns for data integration in cloud-based as well as on-prem environments
 * Working knowledge of Batch scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys
 * Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as OBIEE/OAS
 * Working experience using GitHUB for Source Code Management (SCM) in a Data Engineering Practice
