Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving R&D environments. * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Must be willing to work onsite at least four days per week. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational stability, resilient system design, and engineering excellence for business-critical research workloads. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in traditional on-premises IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage and file systems, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and related infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with GCP cloud infrastructure, cloud IAM, networking, and infrastructure automation. While this role will initially focus heavily on on-premises infrastructure, it will also help establish the systems, processes, standards, and automation practices needed to support cloud adoption and long-term infrastructure modernization.
