## About the Role

* US Citizenship required
 * Requires BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters.
 * Active Secret clearance
 * Proven experience in integration and test
 * Excellent verbal, written and, interpersonal communication skills are required for an effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
 * Experience with SysML

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with the Navy's Cooperative Engagement Capability
 * Experience using the Atlassian toolset
 * Experience with Cameo/Magic Draw
 * Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum
 * Experience with MATLAB is beneficial.

## Description

The Maritime Systems Division of Leidos is seeking a test engineer with experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, system integration, and test procedure creation. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of systems engineering processes and experience with hardware/software integration.

The candidate should work well in a collaborative environment, understand Agile development methodologies, and seek to identify and champion both technical and process innovations.

The C4I Prototype is a new product that is rapidly maturing and nearing readiness for deployment. The program provides for deployment, monitoring, and communications of a buoy that includes a software defined radio. The implementation in Rust controls the radio in meeting key mission objectives. Tasking and responsibilities will vary depending on project objectives and may extend to programs beyond the C4I Prototype.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts including:

 * SysML models
 * Test Plans
 * Test Procedures
 * Perform test procedure execution and collection of results for incorporation into Test Reports.
