Experience from embedded systems, regulated industries, medical technology or other environments with high requirements for quality, traceability and verification is considered an advantage. ## Description We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for an assignment focused on software analysis, migration, verification and test automation within an established product environment. The assignment involves understanding existing C++ implementations, developing corresponding functionality in C# and ensuring that the new solutions behave correctly on existing product units. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: * Reviewing and analysing existing C++ source code. * Understanding the behaviour, dependencies and purpose of legacy software components. * Designing and implementing corresponding functionality in C#. * Ensuring functional equivalence between existing and newly developed solutions. * Verifying software functionality directly on existing product units. * Developing automated tests based on established test protocols and test methods. * Analysing test results and investigating deviations. * Troubleshooting software and system-level issues. * Documenting implementations, test coverage and verification results. * Collaborating with software developers, system engineers and verification teams., You are analytical, structured and solution-oriented. You are comfortable working with existing systems and can identify how legacy functionality should be implemented in a modern software environment.
