## About the Role

* High school diploma or equivalent.
 * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
 * Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver IT equipment throughout the workday.
 * Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and punctuality.
 * Experience moving or handling sensitive technology equipment preferred.
 * Basic familiarity with computer hardware setup and workstation components preferred.

## Description

The IT Equipment Mover & Driver supports the Client's technology operations by transporting, relocating, installing, and maintaining IT hardware across Client facilities and remote locations. This role combines safe vehicle operation with hands-on technical support, ensuring that computers, peripherals, and other technology assets are delivered, set up, tracked, and processed according to established IT standards and asset management procedures.
Key Responsibilities
IT Equipment Transport & Move Support

 * Safely load, secure, transport, and unload IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, servers, peripherals, and audiovisual devices.
 * Prepare equipment for transit using appropriate wrapping, padding, and packing materials.
 * Complete assigned IT move requests across Client facilities and remote locations.
 * Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and equipment relocation activities to ensure timely completion of customer requests.
 * Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and equipment movements.

Workstation Installation & Setup

 * Install and configure desktop workstations, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and related peripherals.
 * Connect and verify equipment functionality in accordance with IT standards and deployment procedures.
 * Assist IT technicians with workstation rollouts, office relocations, and large-scale deployment projects.

Vehicle Operations

 * Safely operate Client cargo vans and moving vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and organizational transportation policies.
 * Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
 * Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all transportation and safety protocols.

IT Asset Management Support

 * Receive incoming IT equipment shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
 * Process new assets in the ServiceNow Asset Management system and update records throughout the asset lifecycle.
 * Support inventory audits, reconciliation efforts, and equipment tracking activities.

Surplus & Disposal Processing

 * Collect surplus, obsolete, or end-of-life IT equipment from Client locations.
 * Transport equipment designated for disposal to approved processing sites.
 * Document chain-of-custody, removal, and disposal activities in accordance with security, environmental, and asset management policies.
