## About the Role

* Experience in working in a MacOS or Linux environment is essential.
 * Experience in a Lead Developer or equivalent leadership position, with a strong background in Scala development.
 * Hands-on experience in developing microservices with Play Framework.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (eg, Git), and modern dev tooling, such as IntelliJ, VS Code, sbt (Scala).
 * Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
 * Experience in participating and influencing architectural decisions across large codebases.
 * TDD advocate.
 * Prior gov/public sector experience.
