Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification required., 3+ years facilitating Agile software-development teams and applying Agile principles in complex technical environments. Demonstrated experience running sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews/demos, and retrospectives. Experience coaching cross-functional teams and managing dependencies across UI, services, database, QA, and deployment activities. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile work-management tools and sprint metrics. ## Description We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate disciplined Agile delivery for a multi-disciplinary modernization team spanning front end, middleware, database, QA, security, and deployment. The Scrum Master owns process facilitation, team flow, impediment removal, and sprint-level transparency while partnering closely with the Project Manager and Technical Lead., Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other team working sessions. Coach the team on Agile principles, definition of ready/done, estimation, work-in-progress discipline, and sustainable delivery practices. Ensure stories have clear acceptance criteria, dependencies, testing expectations, and sufficient readiness before commitment. Remove or escalate impediments and coordinate resolution of cross-team dependencies that threaten sprint or release objectives. Protect the team from uncontrolled scope insertion while enabling transparent reprioritization through the agreed product/delivery process. Track sprint progress, predictability, carryover, blockers, defect trends, cycle time, and other agreed team metrics. Facilitate collaboration between developers, QA, Technical Lead, Product Owner/business stakeholders, Project Manager, and operations/security participants. Promote continuous improvement by turning retrospective actions and recurring impediments into owned, measurable improvements. Maintain accurate Agile tooling and ensure sprint status reflects the actual state of work. Core Technical Skills Agile/Scrum facilitation, servant leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and impediment management. Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent backlog/sprint tooling. Sprint metrics, flow/predictability analysis, dependency coordination, and continuous improvement.
