## About the Role

* 7+ years of experience in Data Governance and Data Quality management.
 * Strong understanding of DAMA-DMBOK or similar data governance frameworks.
 * Practical experience with governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or OvalEdge.
 * Proven track record in Change Management and technical documentation within complex environments.
 * Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to align business and IT objectives.
 * You are fluent in French or Dutch with professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

 * Knowledge of NIS2 regulations and standards such as ISO/IEC 38505, ISO 8000, or GDPR.
 * Knowledge of data modeling using UML or Archimate.
 * Professional experience within regulated sectors like finance or the public sector.

## Description

* Inventory, map, and classify critical data assets along with their associated flows and dependencies.
 * Define and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
 * Establish data protection requirements and access rules based on classification and the principle of least privilege.
 * Facilitate training and awareness sessions to drive the adoption of data governance principles and best practices.
 * Ensure data quality, discoverability, and documentation through master data management and lineage modeling.
