## About the Role

* Minimum 4 years in a Java Developer role
 * Back-end: ,Java EE, Spring Boot, Microservices with Java 17 & Spring Boot 3.X as concrete hands-on experience
 * API & Web Services: REST hands-on experience
 * Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure (or equivalent major cloud provider) in a Cloud-Native setup
 * Messaging & Batch-Processing: Modern message broker experience like AWS SQS/SNS, Azure Servicebus or Apache Kafka for event-based communication & Spring Batch for our batch processing;
 * Testing: Junit
 * Databases: any modern relational DB
 * CI/CD: Azure Pipelines or Gitlab Actions as a minimum
 * Languages Fluent in French or Dutch, and excellent understanding of English.

## Description

* Design, develop, document, and release independently and in-team new Javabased software features and API services
 * Build and maintain scalable, secure backend microservices using modern Java frameworks (Java 17+ to Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x)
 * Design cloud-native applications leveraging hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred; GCP a plus)
 * Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, or equivalent)
 * Package applications using Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes.
 * Optimize CI/CD pipelines (Aure Pipelines or Gitlab Actions) to ensure seamless, reliable delivery
 * Solving incidents and communicating with the Functional Analysts
 * Weekly Guard duty on the whole perimeter of the assigned team
