## About the Role

* HBO-level education and thinking skills, for example in ICT, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Mechanical Engineering;
 * 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
 * Experience with embedded systems and industrial software development;
 * Knowledge of PLC programming, preferably Siemens S7;
 * Willing to travel internationally on an occasional basis;
 * Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented;
 * Flexible and able to handle stress well;
 * Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
 * Ability to perform excellently both independently and as part of a team.

## Description

Our client is an innovative organization in the manufacturing industry. To expand its engineering team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for industrial automation.
What will you be doing?
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing control software for machines and systems. You will work according to technical specifications and make a significant contribution to new developments and process improvements.
Your responsibilities:

 * Testing, analyzing, and optimizing machines and systems;
 * Developing and implementing new software solutions;
 * Programming and modifying PLC controls (preferably Siemens S7);
 * Supporting new product and system developments;
 * Collaborating closely with various internal departments;
 * Improving the functionality, reliability, and performance of machines.
