Arun Integrated Care Primary Care Network (PCN) Ltd, is seeking a motivated, proactive and organised PCN Manager to lead the operational delivery of our Network Contract DES and support the continued development of innovative, high-quality primary care services., Our PCN comprises 3 GP practices serving a combined population of over 38,000 patients across, East Preston, Rustington & Littlehampton. Working in partnership with our CD, Partners, Managers, you will play a key role in shaping the future of local primary care. This is a varied role with responsibility for the operational management, supporting the delivery of national and local priorities, workforce planning, financial oversight, governance, quality improvement and the implementation of new initiatives. There is also a requirement for strong people management skills. In return, you will have the opportunity to work alongside supportive clinical and operational leaders, contribute to strategic decision-making, develop innovative services and make a genuine difference to the health and wellbeing of our local community., As PCN Manager, you will provide operational leadership across the AiC Primary Care Network which operates as a Limited Company, working closely with the Clinical Director, PCN Board and member practices to deliver the Network Contract DES and achieve the PCN's strategic objectives. You will lead on the day-to-day management of the PCN, supporting workforce planning, financial management, service development, project delivery, governance and contractual requirements. The role also involves working collaboratively with GP practices, the Integrated Care Board (ICB), neighbourhood teams and wider health and care partners to strengthen integrated working and support the development of local neighbourhood services. This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the opportunity to lead service improvements, manage multiple workstreams and contribute to the future transformation of primary care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients and local communities., 1) Strategic Planning Working with the PCN board to design and iterate a digital strategic vision and identify supporting objectives To clarify objectives and priorities for network delivery in line with operational capacity, financial parameters and contract requirements Promote the engagement of all PCN practices and act as an ambassador for the network To proactively build relationships with system leaders to help influence proactive and new models of care To use business intelligence tools to aid data-driven decisions 2) Operations & People Management To provide oversight and accountability to the delivery of PCN contracts and specifications Coordinate training and development of PCN staff People & performance management including 1 to 1's and appraisals, leading organisational change and supporting a positive organisational culture Identify and record risks and issues and develop contingency plans with Network Leads Ensure all relevant national strategies, policies, targets, and frameworks are fully implemented Explore potential new digital and transformative projects and potential project partners To drive issues through to resolution, acting as a point of expertise To implement network-based projects 3) Finance and Governance To support the collation of financial information To monitor and check the accuracy of the submissions for the DES and contractual requirements Ensure the management of data and implementation of all projects and initiatives within the PCN are compliant with General Data Protection Regulation Compiling and presenting financial reports To ensure that the PCN's physical and financial resources are managed and maintained for maximum effectiveness 4) Digital Infrastructure To ensure the PCN maximises its business intelligence tools Develops a continuous improvement approach to digital accessibility for our patients and workforce Creates data packs to support decision-making that includes but is not limited to demand, capacity, utilisation data, staff and patient experience 5) Relationship Management To foster a culture of collaboration and promote learning to drive continuous improvement To work as a flexible member of the PCN, providing support to other team members when necessary Ensure effective communication among all PCN stakeholders To take an active role in the development and embedding of the PCN's culture, values and reputation Liaise with community healthcare providers on specific programmes and projects First point of contact for Practice Managers regarding delivery of digital projects Network and build effective relationships with other local PCN Managers, engaging in peer support meetings and projects 6) Workforce Planning To facilitate progression for the PCN staff to promote retention To support recruitment, inductions and training This list of duties is not exhaustive and may be subject to change as deemed necessary after consultation with the post holder. ## Related Videos -
