## About the Role

* relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or NLP.
 * Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
 * Strong experience developing and deploying Machine Learning/Deep Learning models.
 * Solid understanding of NLP, preferably working with real-world unstructured text/data.
 * Experience with BERT, Transformers, and fine-tuning language models.
 * Strong understanding of statistics, probability, Bayesian modelling, and optimisation.
 * Good SQL and relational database knowledge.
 * Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
 * Comfortable working in a research-oriented environment involving experimentation, analysis, and mathematical problem-solving.

Experience with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, SQL, and ideally BERT/Transformer models & fine-tuning, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Named Entity Linking (NEL), Natural Language Inference (NLI), Knowledge Graphs, Neo4j/Gremlin would be particularly relevant.

Education:

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline is highly desirable.
