Current UK SC clearance. ## Description We are seeking a Security Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, configuration, and maintenance of security solutions within a Defence-focused environment. This is a technical, client-facing role for someone who can work across cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, virtual machines, and containers. You will support the deployment of security tools, assess existing environments, and help improve overall security maturity. Key responsibilities Support the design, configuration, and deployment of security tools. Specify infrastructure requirements, including compute, storage, and network bandwidth. Support cloud hosting, containers, and on-premises VM and container deployments. Configure network security devices, routers, switches, VLANs, DNS, and identity management. Integrate security tools with identity management solutions. Develop test procedures to verify functional and non-functional requirements. Research and test new technologies, adapting to unfamiliar tools and environments. Act as a technical SME across deployment and configuration activities. Engage with client stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly., The role is Frimley-based with travel to client sites.
