## About the Role

* Fully competent in Microsoft range of applications particularly with Excel.
 * Familiarity with reporting software such as Query Studio is desirable.
 * Previous supervisory experience.
 * Developed soft skills
 * Good communication skills - verbal & written
 * Understanding of MOD systems and data
 * Understanding of Demand planning using system-based techniques
 * Knowledge of SQL is desirable but not essential

## Description

Our client requires a Business Intelligence Team Lead / Manager, to lead and manage a team of Business Analysts and develop the BI capability. Working on defence inventory/logistics projects, its preferable if you have worked in the Defence sector but is not essential., * Mentor and support development of the business analysts and BI capability.

 * Support the development of change requests from the customer.
 * Support the development of processes and systems to improve business performance.
 * Support the control and administration of planning parameters.
 * Support inventory planning activity through data analysis and process improvement design
 * Support the Inventory Planning team, monitoring output quality and productivity in line with business priorities
 * Lead MI Reporting, and internal Business Performance measures and monitoring
 * Continual development of reporting suite and engagement to ensure understanding of data and reporting requirements
