## About the Role

* Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
 * Strong experience with core GCP services including:
 + Compute Engine
 + BigQuery
 + Kubernetes
 * Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
 * Strong Scripting or development skills in Python and/or Golang.
 * Solid understanding of cloud security and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
 * experience working within enterprise cloud environments and adhering to governance standards., * Must be based in or able to commute to Glasgow.
 * This is a 5-day onsite role.
 * Candidates must have a valid visa or unrestricted right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

## Description

This position requires someone who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering, with strong experience across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities

 * Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions within Google Cloud Platform.
 * Build, maintain, and optimise cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code principles.
 * Manage and support Kubernetes-based workloads and containerised applications.
 * Implement and maintain cloud security, governance, and compliance controls.
 * Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python or Golang.
 * Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms and services.
 * Monitor platform performance and continuously improve operational efficiency.
