## Description

As a Principal Senior Technical Architect - Data, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for shaping and delivering advanced data, analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities for Defence and National Security customers. The role focuses on designing mission-aligned data architectures, driving the adoption of AI/ML technologies, and integrating data-driven capability across complex systems.

Day-to-day, you will function as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, the architect champions modern data practices, scalable architecture, and the responsible use of AI to deliver operations advantage and mission impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

 * Taking leadership of defence and security Data Architecture defining secure, scalable, and mission-focused data architecture across multiple platforms/environments
 * Shaping end-to-end data lifecycles and leading the design of data models, ontologies, data flows, and integration strategies
 * Translating mission problems into feasible AI/ML solutions and prototypes leading the early-stage innovation, experimentation, and technology evaluation
 * Integrating data pipelines, analytical platforms, AI models, and mission systems into coherent system of system solutions
 * Leading data architecture and AI/ML components within major Defence & Security bids developing compelling strategies, architecture, and delivery approaches for customers
 * Leading and mentoring data engineers, AI/ML specialists, architects, and analysts
