 * Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
 * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
 * Excellent communication and customer service skills
 * Valid driver's license and clean driving record
 * Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the service area
 * CompTIA A+ certification
 * Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
 * Reliable attendance and punctuality

## Description

Our fast-growing and dynamic IT services company is seeking an experienced Computer Field Repair Technician for immediate hire. This position involves traveling to K-12 schools and educational institutions to diagnose, repair, and support laptops, Chromebooks, and other computing devices directly at customer locations., * Travel to customer sites, primarily schools and educational organizations, to perform hardware diagnostics and repairs

 * Diagnose and repair laptop and Chromebook hardware issues
 * Replace components including screens, keyboards, batteries, hinges, touchpads, and motherboards
 * Disassemble and reassemble systems efficiently and accurately
 * Perform device testing and quality checks to ensure successful repairs
 * Document repair activities, parts usage, and service results
 * Communicate professionally with school staff, administrators, and end users regarding repair status and expectations
 * Manage assigned service tickets and maintain required turnaround times
 * Maintain company tools, repair inventory, and service vehicle (if applicable)
 * Follow company procedures and safety guidelines while working at customer locations
