You've seen what works, and what didn't. * Have independently worked and delivered a small web app or entire feature in a larger web app * Excitement about working in our mobile tech stack, which includes React, Typescript, and potentially Electron * Ability to act with autonomy & self-direction while working well in a team environment * Willingness to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quickly * Are comfortable with working across domains and languages with a curiosity to experiment & learn new things * Deep expertise in using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows. We're looking for candidates who have been deep in this for the last couple years. * Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following on web: audio playback, audio recording, file encryption, or online vs. offline mode support ## Description Abridge is looking for experienced Front End Engineers to join our growing team! You'll play a key role in our technology decisions and implementation, and you'll see firsthand the impact that we're making on healthcare. You'll build and support functionality primarily in React but also across our APIs and other TypeScript codebases. As a growing startup at the edge of this wave of AI, you'll have opportunities to work across our stack and help develop best practices as our industry continues to shift., * Scale up our business by designing, building, and supporting easy-to-use React/Typescript applications * Set standards for accessibility and design system use * Make and implement technology decisions that support business needs without compromising security, privacy, or quality * Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security * Advocate for high standards; make quality-of-life improvements to the codebase; and help limit the growth of technical debt * Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset * Communicate regularly and effectively within and on behalf of our cross-functional product delivery teams.
