Certification/ Licensure: * CompTIA Network&plus ## Description The Network Engineer plays a key operational role in managing Inspira Health's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and security infrastructure. This role also includes independently executing projects, handling escalations, handling most support issues independently and contributing to secure and sustainable networking solutions., The Network Engineer designs, implements, manages, and troubleshoots routine and modestly difficult problems. They proficiently participate in projects by proficiently performing assigned tasks, meeting target dates, and producing high quality work. They receive as well as give instruction to grow skills and become increasingly more capable., * Configure and support core technologies such as VLANs, OSPF, BGP, SDWAN, and VPN. * Manage firewalls and security rules on Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms. * Maintain documentation for network diagrams, IP address management (Infoblox/Bluecat), and change records. * Perform regular reviews of network performance and capacity. * Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on network projects. * Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Collaboration & Team Support: * Collaborate with fellow team members and other IT and systems engineering teams to ensure smooth network integration with servers, storage, and applications. * Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers. * Adeptly perform development and updating of technical documentation and network diagrams to ensure they are current. Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: * Confidently manage routine, many moderately complex, and some difficult tickets independently. * Regularly assist and coach fellow team members in troubleshooting and analysis. * Monitor network performance and availability. * Identify and resolve all but the most complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime, service delivery, and SLA attainment. * Proficiently conduct root cause analysis for any network failures or issues. Design and Projects: * Serve as a core contributor on project teams. * Execute project tasks independently after orientation. * Guide Associates on routine workstreams. * Contribute feedback and optimizations during project planning and reviews. Documentation: * Create and update documentation and diagrams independently with occasional coaching. * Assist team members in documentation processes and tool usage.
