## About the Role

* BS / MS / PhD in a related scientific or engineering field.
 * 8+ years experience in complex systems integration
 * Strong fundamentals and demonstrated understanding complex system integration
 * Experience with Siemens NX and suite of tools
 * A systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate complex, technical rationale to multidisciplinary stakeholders.
 * Extremely self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports and documents.

Nice to have:

 * Experience with Turboshaft system integration
 * Experience with turbogenerator design principles
 * Experience with MATLAB, Simulink for control logic and numerical propulsion system simulation and performance modelling
 * Experience with computational fluid dynamics and analysis
 * Prior experience with hybrid-electric aircraft, eVTOLs, or hybrid automotive powertrains.
 * Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification
 * Knowledge of simulation model validation, model calibration, and uncertainty quantification methods.
