You must have a strong understanding of networking, including switching, routing, subnetting, and transport layer protocols. Familiarity with the networking aspect of AWS cloud services is desirable for this role, as you will be expected to support VPC networking and site-to-site VPNs. This role demands hands-on expertise with hypervisors such as ESXi, KVM, and Proxmox, as well as a thorough understanding of computer hardware, and operating systems. Experience with Linux, and scripting in Bash and Python is also highly desirable. Additionally, you will be expected to follow, update, and create technical documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy in all systems processes and protocols. You will also need the ability to travel to customer sites and Quvia's Points of Presence (PoPs) as needed. Because occasional travel is a requirement, you must maintain an active passport, driver's license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.
