The Product Owner is responsible for supporting and leading the development of digital products and workflow capabilities that enable efficient, compliant, and scalable Grievances & Appeals (G&A) operations. They translate the product vision into actionable requirements for the product development team, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and product alignment. The role owns backlog refinement, prioritization, and feature delivery for key components of the G&A platform. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Operations partners, the Product Owner helps drive end-to-end process and user experience improvements. In partnership with Engineering, they share accountability for delivering measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, and compliance capabilities. Position Responsibilities Backlog Ownership, Work Definition, and Prioritization * Refines, prioritizes, and maintains the flow and quality of the Backlog to provide teams with clear intent and ensure the delivery of business value, product health, and customer satisfaction * Ensures that all backlog items, plus dependencies, are entered and maintained in the work management tool * Provides input for testing through well-written user stories with thorough acceptance criteria. Supports testing, deployment, release, and post-release activities Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmaps * Provides clarity of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap developed and communicated by senior product leaders to the team * Partners with product leadership, customer experience, and design to integrate the customer perspective into features and experiences * Collaborates with others to define the team OKRs and contributes to the development of feature-level measurement plans Trend Monitoring and Product Performance & Value * Uses performance data to identify issues quickly and develop new insights and hypothesis about product health. * Assists with tracking team metrics that contribute to product objectives and key results (OKRs), aligned with business objectives, and socializes progress.
