## About the Role

* 2+ years hands on development experience
 * Proficiency in SQL, Python and Pyspark.
 * Experience working in data engineering, data science and data analytics. Note that this is not a Cloud Full Stack developer role.
 * Familiarity with Databricks
 * Familiarity with database design and architecture; relational and non-relational databases
 * Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions
 * Knowledge of cloud architecture: commercial cloud vendors (AWS/Azure)
 * Competence with software engineering tools and processes (estimation, issue tracking, version control, debugging, etc.)
 * Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision.
 * Proven experience in knowledge sharing (i.e., code reviews, solid documentation)
 * Driven, self-directed personality
 * Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
 * Active Secret Clearance

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Experience with ETL pipelines, data pipelines, and/or workflow automation
 * Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster positive outcomes from diverse interests of people and teams
 * Experience working with the DoD
 * Experience working with GFEBS or other SAP ERP system

## Description

* Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.
 * Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
 * Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.
 * Build data models and reports using datasets from ERPs and legacy systems.
 * Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
