You'll own our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability (foundation on GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Datadog), but most of your time will go toward making Consensus an AI-native engineering org: rolling out coding agents, keeping our codebase agent-ready, and building automations that absorb routine work so engineers and agents can both ship with confidence., * Accelerate the team with AI. Evaluate and roll out AI tooling across engineering (coding agents like Claude Code / Cursor / Codex / Devin, AI-powered code review and testing), tune it to our codebase and conventions, and keep the repo agent-ready with high-quality docs, skills, and guardrails. * Build internal agents and automations that absorb toil: incident triage, test maintenance, on-call support, codebase Q&A. Track adoption and measure the productivity gains. * Own the developer loop: GitHub-based CI/CD, build speed, release process, dev environments, and load/automated testing (including AI-driven end-to-end tests). Make it fast to go from idea to production. * Keep the platform reliable. Own cloud infra (GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform), observability and incident response (Datadog), and extend coverage to newer surfaces like LLM pipelines and agent workloads. ## Related Videos - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [Developer Experience in the Age of AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1118-developer-experience-in-the-age-of-ai) - [Debugging in the Dark](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1658-debugging-in-the-dark) - [Docker Compose: Rediscovered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1978-docker-compose-rediscovered) - [Software Engineering Social Connection: Yubo’s lean approach to scaling an 80M-user infrastructure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1583-software-engineering-social-connection-yubo-s-lean-approach-to-scaling-an-80m-user-infrastructure) - [Bringing AI Model Testing and Prompt Management to Your Codebase with GitHub Models](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1536-bringing-ai-model-testing-and-prompt-management-to-your-codebase-with-github-models) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 137 - AI'm not sure about this](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/485-dev-digest-137-ai-m-not-sure-about-this) - [What is Agentic Programming and Why Should Developers Care?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/625-what-is-agentic-programming-and-why-should-developers-care) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [MLOps And AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/82-mlops-and-ai-driven-development) - [Never delegate the understanding](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/749-never-delegate-the-understanding)
