What to Expect You will be one of the early members of the EE & Firmware team, which develops embedded software for our home robot and our wearable. This includes sensing, networking, motor control, power distribution, and more. As a Firmware Engineer, you will work on robust, high-performance firmware across the entire home robot. You'll get the chance to own multiple new boards from the initial hardware design phase, take them through board bring-up with the EE team, and integrate them into the robot. This will also include generalist work beyond firmware: motor control, systems software, and embedded Linux. In doing this, you'll collaborate closely with the electrical, mechanical, software, controls, and machine learning teams to solve complex problems across hardware and software boundaries.
