Associates degree in related technology field and or at least two (2) years' work experience; high school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair for both Windows and Macintosh platforms. 3. Basic understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and local area network operations. 4. Associate level, industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, and/or Cisco desired. 5. Ability to read and apply technical service-related information from various sources. 6. Possess aptitude to carry out oral and written directions from Technology Director and/or assigned technical lead. 7. Adjust to new assignments and variety of working conditions, including effective task prioritization and independent task completion. 8. Proven ability to relate with staff, coworkers, and other end users regarding computer technology. 9. Prioritize and assign work orders/tickets/tasks, resolve problems and anticipate tasks to be completed with minimum supervision and guidance. 10. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to meet deadlines during extremely critical times. 11. Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license and a good driving record. 12. Must furnish one's own transportation. 13. Must have excellent attendance. 14. Must be committed to on-going training for the maintenance of technical skills expected. 15. Other duties as assigned., * Ability to successfully complete a skills assessment and/or practical demonstration if selected for interview ## Description Under the direction of the Technology Director, this position provides level 1 technical systems support to district end users, including the installation, maintenance, and problem detection/resolution of hardware and software technology assets., 1. Provide technical support via telephone, onsite, and electronic (email, remote/virtual) help desk support to district employees, students, and others as needed. 2. Install, configure, diagnose, repair, service and maintain desktop computer systems and peripherals for multiple hardware platforms (PC and MAC), including both hardware and software related issues. 3. Provide basic network connectivity support for Local Area Network (LAN) equipment. 4. Install, configure, and diagnose district printers (local and network). 5. Maintain inventory system of district technology assets based on building assignments, including physical inventory verification as assigned by the Technology Director. 6. Sort, inventory, and store production and surplus technology equipment based on district policy. 7. Escalate higher level support issues to Level II and III Support Specialists for resolution. 8. Document all support related issues via help desk ticketing system for tracking and record keeping purposes. 9. Attend district and department level meetings, including required training sessions. 10.
