## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to communicate complex data clearly, initiative and adaptability, and demonstrates professionalism and collaboration., * Bachelor's degree.

 * Two years of relevant experience., * One to two years of relevant healthcare analytics experience.
 * Proficiency in EPIC reporting tools, data validation, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
 * Experience working in clinical or academic medical environments.
 * Experience with working with pivot tables.
 * Experience with research reporting (indirects, clinical trials, etc.).

## Description

The Data Analytics Associate supports the clinical, operational, and financial functions of the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Otolaryngology, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation by transforming complex EPIC/EMR data into actionable insights. This role develops and manages dashboards, conducts statistical and revenue-cycle analyses, prepares recruitment and business development analytics, and provides consultative support for faculty practice performance., System Performance & Analysis - 45%

 * Develops and maintains databases, data collection systems, and reporting processes to support operational and business analytics.
 * Designs and maintains dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support departmental performance monitoring.
 * Develops descriptive and predictive analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Data Management & Analysis - 50%

 * Extracts, integrates, and validates data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
 * Utilizes reporting and analytics tools to run queries and support routine and ad hoc reporting needs.
 * Analyzes data using statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
 * Prepares reports and analyses to support business planning, performance evaluation, and process improvement initiatives.
 * Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and user-friendly reports.
 * Prepares documentation in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
 * Provides technical support and communicates findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Other - 5%

 * Performs other duties as assigned.
