Education / Certifications: * Bachelor's Degree in or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related discipline including those with degrees in-progress with completion expected by May 2027 (or earlier). ## Description V2X is seeking a Systems Security Engineer I to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN supporting cybersecurity for advanced mission systems. These systems include mission computers, avionics, sensors, and mission equipment for airborne and ground platforms. As a Systems Security Engineer I, you will work with experienced security and systems engineers to protect mission critical systems through secure configurations, vulnerability management, and RMF compliance activities. Responsibilities In this role you will support security documentation, baseline hardening, evidence collection, and basic assessment tasks while learning DoD RMF and NIST guidance. You will collaborate within cross functional Integrated Product Teams where effective communication and teamwork are essential.
