## About the Role

* End-to-end ownership of production data platforms: Proven experience designing, building, and operating shared data infrastructure that supports multiple products and teams.
 * Distributed systems and cloud infrastructure: Deep understanding of scalable, resilient systems, orchestration, and the full data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption.
 * Data ingestion, storage, enrichment, retrieval, and lineage: Ability to architect robust pipelines, create shared data assets, and maintain clear data lineage.
 * Reliability, observability, governance, and data quality: Track record establishing platform standards, monitoring, and controls to ensure trusted, high-quality data.
 * Platform operations and incident response: Hands-on experience running production platforms, resolving issues, and continuously improving systems.
 * Workflow orchestration and metadata systems: Familiarity with orchestration tools and metadata-driven architectures to manage complex data workflows.
 * Data lineage and observability tooling: Building capabilities to trace data flows and provide visibility into system behaviour.
 * AI, healthcare, or biomedical data platforms: Experience in these domains and with knowledge graphs or evidence management systems is highly advantageous.
 * Technical leadership and architecture: Ability to make strategic architectural decisions and lead mission-critical platform initiatives at Staff, Principal, or Founding level.
