(CASP+, CySA+, Securit+, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CGRC) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Working experience with NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD cybersecurity requirements. * Experience with implementing security controls, documenting compliance, and supporting authorization activities. * Experience with vulnerability assessment, scanning, configuration changes, software and hardware updates, and securing configurations. * Experience with tools such as Nessus, ACAS, eMASS, and related cybersecurity platforms preferred. * Understanding of network security principles, operating systems, and secure architecture concepts. * Ability to identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and follow through to closure. * Strong written and oral communication skills. * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Ability to handle multiple assignments and work effectively in a team-oriented client environment. * Experience with PowerShell or Python preferred. * Navy, NAVSEA, MSC, RMF, or broader federal/DoD experience preferred. * Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System. ## Description The Lead Consultant will provide experienced cybersecurity support across multiple client engagements to ensure quality services are delivered on schedule and within the available budget to meet customer requirements. This role independently executes substantial portions of cybersecurity engagements and supports efforts involving RMF, A&A, cyber compliance, vulnerability management, secure configuration, and systems security engineering. The Lead Consultant works closely with project leadership and clients to deliver high-quality technical services and written deliverables across multiple cybersecurity opportunities.
