## Description

We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Architect with strong hands-on experience in Wi-Fi/networking testing, CPE devices, Linux embedded systems, and packet analysis.
The candidate will perform exploratory and investigative testing of Wi-Fi features across CPE devices, gateways, routers, and extenders, with a primary focus on identifying complex, intermittent, and real-world issues.
Responsibilities

 * Perform exploratory testing of Wi-Fi features across CPE devices, gateways, routers, and extenders.
 * Validate Wi-Fi functionality including:

 * SSID creation and management
 * WPA2/WPA3
 * WPS
 * Band steering
 * Client steering
 * Mesh behavior
 * Roaming and handoff
 * Multi-AP scenarios
 * Test Wi-Fi across mobile devices, laptops, IoT devices, and smart TVs.
 * Perform testing in dense client, interference, channel congestion, and environmental variation scenarios.
 * Identify edge cases, race conditions, and intermittent issues.
 * Perform throughput, latency, packet-loss, soak, stress, performance, and stability testing.
 * Analyze packet captures, logs, and system traces.
 * Use Wireshark, iPerf, and tcpdump for troubleshooting and analysis.
 * Work with developers, architects, and product teams to reproduce and troubleshoot complex issues.
 * Execute limited scripted/regression testing while maintaining a primary focus on exploratory testing.
