## About the Role

* An active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
 * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
 * 8+ years in software engineering or related experience.
 * 3+ years of experience with Rust or C++ (preferably C++11 or newer).
 * Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments (Mostly Linux).

Desired Skills and Experience

 * Experience with Agile Methodology.
 * Experience with database programming (e.g. MongoDB).
 * Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker).
 * Experience with Rust or C++ (C++20 or newer).
 * Experience developing software for embedded or real-time applications (space or aerospace/industrial controls preferred).
 * Knowledgeable in satellite systems, ground-based mission systems or mission operations.

## Description

Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Software Developer with a bachelor's degree or higher and 8+ years' experience to join our team. Candidates will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate has experience with modern C++ or Rust, object-oriented design, debugging, and optimizing complex systems, and works effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment., * Supports milestone objectives to include software development in a collaborative unclassified environment.

 * Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
 * Leading a small team of high performing developers across the full software development lifecycle.
 * Comfortable contributing to Rust applications.
