The following skills are highly desired: * Experience working with 1GHz+ ARM or x86 hardware platforms that include DDRx memory interfaces. * Experience working on signal and power integrity issues. * Familiarity with high-speed serial interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.) * Experience with industry standard schematic capture tools * Familiarity with power supply design / topologies and low-power design techniques Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. ## Description * Working across disciplines to define the platform's requirements * Working with the hardware team to define the architecture of the platform * Designing and documenting the hardware platform * Schematic and BOM capture * Working with the CAD team on the PWB layout * Lab-based design verification and integration * Transition of the design to small volume production * Technical support of in-house customers, Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
