## About the Role

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

 - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
 - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
 - Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
 - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
 - Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing, or experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
 - Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services
 - Experience building rich data-driven web applications by consuming RESTful services and APIs

## Description

Are you passionate about applying AI and compilation techniques to automate legal contract processing at AWS scale? The AWS Contract Onboarding team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to build systems that parse, interpret, and ingest Private Pricing Agreements - enabling AWS to bill customers accurately and sign contracts faster. You'll work with LLMs, distributed event pipelines, and customer-facing consoles processing billions of dollars in AWS revenue., As a Software Development Engineer, you will own all aspects of the software development lifecycle - design, architecture, implementation, testing, and operations. Your team builds systems to capture contractual data from AWS Private Pricing Agreements in electronic format, enabling automated billing at global scale.
