## About the Role

* Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required to be considered for this position
 * Education: BS in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
 * Develop, analyze, allocate, and maintain system and system-of-systems requirements
 * Mission Engineering experience is a plus
 * 10+ years of relevant technical experience in system engineering
 * 5+ years in system requirements analysis and allocation
 * 2+ Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering methods and tools
 * Independent problem solving with a variety of mission architecture systems engineering abilities, including knowledge and experience in requirements development, analysis, verification, and test
 * Ability to work effectively with customers and program stakeholders and have robust written and verbal communication skills

Desired:

 * Minimum of 2 years' experience in Special Access and/or SCI programs
 * Demonstrated ability to work well independently or as a team member
 * Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and non-technical project teams
 * Assess operational effectiveness of current and future capabilities
 * Evaluate mission impacts resulting from system changes or new capabilities
 * Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability through verification and validation activities
 * Identify architecture risks, interface risks, and requirements gaps

Compensation: $150,000 - $190,000 (For Colorado Only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

## Description

KBR is seeking a Senior level Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support Air Force Research Laboratory projects.

 * The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining requirements, interfaces, model-based systems engineering, test and verification plans and system integration plans based upon customer needs, gap analysis and evaluation of future system performance.
 * This work will be conducted at the SCI and SAP levels.
