* Proficiency in major public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform required.
 * Experience with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell required.
 * Understanding of cloud networking, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and firewalls required.
 * Advanced VM management, Windows Server/Active Directory, and Linux administration required.
 * Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server required.
 * SME-level experience with Azure/AWS required.
 * Intermediate experience with Microsoft 365 required.
 * Intermediate PowerShell experience required.
 * Advanced networking experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

 * 5-6 years of experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure highly desired.
 * Prior government or regulated industry experience highly desired.
 * Advanced Linux experience highly desired.
 * Intermediate vSphere experience highly desired.
 * Intermediate Python experience highly desired.

## Description

Diversified Systems is searching for a Cloud Specialist to develop and modify scalable architecture supporting Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platforms. The consultant will ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy, and safely migrate existing on-premises applications, workloads, and databases to public cloud platforms.

The Cloud Specialist will monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, proactively identify and resolve issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. The consultant will also design controls and processes that utilize available audit tools and maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology., * Develop and modify scalable architecture to support Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platforms.

 * Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy.
 * Move existing on-premises applications, workloads, and databases to public cloud platforms safely.
 * Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
 * Design controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
