## About the Role

* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in software / computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6+ years of professional experience.

 * Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position.

 * Demonstrated experience software development of Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.

 * Demonstrated experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.

 * Demonstrated experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.).

 * Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams.

 * The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work independently, and be able to work in a highly dynamic environment.

 * Candidate will need to be able to work with multiple disciplinary teams including Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, Deployment and Warfighter Support to help ensure mission success.

 * Security+ or equivalent certification may be required within 60 days of starting for some roles.

Desired Skills

Experience in the following:

 * Missile Defense Domain experience

 * Design and development of real-time Java applications.

 * Developing multi-thread Java applications

 * Developing new capabilities into a legacy software system.

 * Optimizing Java applications for run-time performance.

 * Development of complex mathematical algorithms from design documents.

 * SW analysis against performance requirements.

 * Resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc.

 * Maven or Gradle.

 * Automated unit testing frameworks.
