* BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.

 * 10+ years of experience in computer electronics and/or test and measurements industry.

 * Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architectures.

 * Demonstrated success and experience using high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++)

 * Proven experience as a system architect.

 * Thorough understanding of design principles.

 * In-depth technical knowledge of NI product line and platforms.

 * Ability to identify and solve system engineering problems.

 * Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with customers.

 * Availability to travel.

 * Architect software as part of an integrated solution.

 * Manage and give direction to the development team.

 * Review work quality and provide mentorship to other engineers.
