## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
 * Current/recent U.S. Government Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one). U.S. Citizenship is required.
 * 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or solutions architecture
 * Familiarity with a variety of programming languages and software engineering tools and, to include C/C++/Java/Python/Rust in an Embedded Environment.
 * Experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
 * Deep familiarity with DoD systems, acquisition processes, and mission environments
 * Strong understanding of Software architecture concepts.
 * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
 * Experience supporting proposals, RFIs/RFPs, or capture efforts
 * Ability to travel 25%
 * Position based in Dayton, Ohio

Preferred Skills:

 * System integration and interoperability challenges

Physical Requirements:

 * Ability to travel to client sites, conferences, and lab environments.
 * Visual and auditory acuity to participate in meetings and customer demonstrations.
 * Ability to handle and transport demo equipment (up to 25 lbs).

## Description

Customer Engagement & Solution Development

 * Partner with Growth and Account teams to qualify opportunities and shape technical strategies
 * Engage directly with Government customers, industry primes, and system integrators to understand mission needs, architectures, and constraints
 * Translate customer problems into tailored solution architectures leveraging Tangram Flex software, solutions and services
 * Lead technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and solution workshops with stakeholders

Pre-Sales & Capture Support

 * Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions
 * Support proposal efforts including technical solutioning, technical solution narrative writing, and architecture diagram creation
 * Contribute to win strategies by aligning solutions with customer priorities (e.g., MOSA, interoperability, speed to field)

Technical Leadership

 * Act as a trusted advisor on software architecture, integration, and modular system design
 * Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on customer needs and market signals
 * Help define reference architectures and reusable solution patterns
