 * Knowledge of ASME drawings and Y14.5 GD&T
 * Familiar with CATIA V5 or CAD software
 * Prior experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Desired Skills

 * Prior experience with Engineering change processes and change orders
 * Prior experience Engineering checking.
 * Familiar with retrofit/service action and multiple type/version effectivities
 * Very detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills
 * One-team mindset to achieve common goal

## Description

As the Design Engineer Sr you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced components and systems, translating concepts into detailed designs that meet performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements., * Design major components and subsystems, creating preliminary layouts and sketches.

 * Evaluate manufacturability, material availability, and cost to optimize designs.
 * Produce detailed assembly drawings and ensure compliance with standards.
 * Review and verify design documentation for accuracy and completeness.
 * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and implement improvements.
