## About the Role

* Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
 * Excellent knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.
 * Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.
 * Proficiency in Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
 * Ability to work in a team and independently.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies.

Preferred

 * Experience working with and implementing web services in the front-end
 * Proficiency using Git version control
 * Experience in Agile development methodologies, Scrum preferred
 * Must be authorized to work in the US.

What you'll do

 * Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript/Angular, HTML and CSS code.
 * Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites look and function.
 * Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
 * Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
 * Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
 * Maintain and improve existing applications.
 * Collaborate with product managers and peers to design, implement and test software applications.
 * Respond to technical requests regarding assigned application or component.
