## Description

* Provides application and systems testing support for a mission-critical environment with strict compliance and operational requirements. The position is responsible for executing functional and compliance-based testing, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and supporting the full software testing life cycle. The ideal candidate has solid Linux experience and the ability to work independently in a technical environment., * Perform application-level and systems testing in support of mission requirements.
 * Execute functional testing of COTS and vendor-provided user client applications.
 * Verify applications properly interface and operate with ITS components and meet established compliance requirements.
 * Develop, execute, and document test cases, procedures, and results throughout the test life cycle.
 * Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.
 * Perform testing and troubleshooting in Linux environments using command-line tools as needed.
 * Support compliance testing against defined technical, security, and operational requirements.
 * Work with engineering and operations teams to investigate issues and validate corrective actions.
 * Contribute to improving testing processes and test automation capabilities.
 * Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with Linux environments.
 * Experience performing application-level testing and troubleshooting.
