As the company scales, they're building out a more mature project management function and need an experienced, hands-on SAP Project Manager to bring structure, documentation, and disciplined execution to their project portfolio. This is an individual contributor role with real ownership over how work gets planned, tracked, and delivered - ideal for someone who thrives operating independently in a growing, still-maturing environment, with room for growth. What You'll Do * Own hands-on, day-to-day delivery of SAP S/4HANA projects and enhancements across the full project lifecycle - from initiation and design through testing, cutover, and stabilization. * Serve as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, the SAP functional and technical team, and outside implementation partners. * Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation, applying SAP Activate methodology. * Drive scope and schedule control, track risks and issues, and hold teams accountable for delivery. * Provide clear, consistent status reporting and readouts to the business. * Support change control, documentation standards, and audit-readiness practices in line with SOX compliance requirements. * May act as the sole project management resource on the portfolio, or work alongside existing team members depending on how the team evolves. * As the program matures, opportunity to help shape governance frameworks and a more scalable operating model for the SAP project portfolio. ## Related Videos - [Replacing Excel with SAP APIs & Python validation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1944-replacing-excel-with-sap-apis-python-validation) - [Independently together: how micro-applications improve developer experience + app performance](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/452-independently-together-how-micro-applications-improve-developer-experience-app-performance) - [Design as an algorithm, not as a feature](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/471-design-as-an-algorithm-not-as-a-feature) - [Snappy UI needs no Single-Page Application](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/904-snappy-ui-needs-no-single-page-application) - [Software Rollouts Are a People Problem: Meet the Nine Change Management Monsters](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2109-software-rollouts-are-a-people-problem-meet-the-nine-change-management-monsters) ## Related Articles - [Why and How to Sponsor Developer Events](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/686-why-and-how-to-sponsor-developer-events) - [How to Respond to the “Why Do You Deserve a Promotion?” Question](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/416-how-to-respond-to-the-why-do-you-deserve-a-promotion-question) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [Best Companies to Work For in Berlin: Top 14 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/188-best-companies-to-work-for-in-berlin-top-14-companies-in-2023)
