Preferred * Experience with HRIS, recruiting software, or complex enterprise systems involving financially sensitive data (payroll, billing). * Comfortable working in Linux environments, including command-line usage and troubleshooting. * Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud performance tuning. ## Description A growing Hawaii-based company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance business-critical enterprise systems. The platform is undergoing significant expansion and modernization as it evolves to support a broader range of business-critical workflows. You will work across the full stack, utilizing Java for backend services, Angular for the frontend, and MySQL and MongoDB data stores. This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys balancing new feature development with the modernization of an established codebase. The business is also investing heavily in AI-assisted development and is looking for someone who can help establish repeatable AI-assisted engineering workflows and practices. This position will allow hybrid work-from-home days after training, subject to the manager's discretion and approval.
